Steve is a high-performance coach who works with ambitious leaders and teams across multiple sectors, from sports to professional services.

Prior to coaching, Steve raced professionally for 15 years, during which he had success at the Tour de France (stage wins), World and Commonwealth Games (Team Pursuit Champion) and the Olympics (silver medalist). Steve continues to work as a Director Sportive/Coach and is currently supporting the INEOS Grenadiers team.

Steve holds a CMI in Managing through Coaching and Mentoring, and is completing his BSc in Business and Sport Management.

Steve believes that effective coaching can empower people to enhance their performance. He describes his coaching style as situational, beginning from a place of deep listening and empathy. Clients benefit from being fully heard, before focusing on their mindset to maximise effectiveness and engagement.

Steve loves working with clients on resilience, overcoming adversity and understanding the competition. Clients are encouraged to take ownership, collaborate and accept accountability.

Akin to team cycling, in business sometimes the whole team need to back one individual, or focus on a collective mission. Steve has an innate ability to strategise and plan, in order to maximise on individual strengths, harmonise team dynamics and ensure the team goal remains front and centre.
