Etienne Coerwinkel
EXECUTIVE COACH
Experience: Chief Risk Officer at an International Bank
Speciality: Purpose, Interpersonal Relationships, Diversity, Authentic Leadership
Based in: The Netherlands

Etienne is an executive coach who works with leaders that are questioning their purpose, and looking to become the best version of themselves, in work and in life.
Etienne comes with 30 years’ International Banking experience. As a former C-suite professional he understands executive exigencies, stakeholder relationships and the impact leaders have on communities.
Etienne has a MSc in Executive Coaching, Economics and Finance, and an MA in Philosophy. He coaches in Dutch, French and English, and is an EMCC certified Senior Practitioner.
Unconditionally positive towards his clients, Etienne is unafraid to go against the existing culture, in pursuit of their authentic voice.
He creates a friendly space, free of any limits or pre-conceptions; for professionals to pause and explore the leader, and person they aspire to be.
Etienne helps clients reaffirm their purpose and values, ensuring consistency across the board. By deepening their understanding of self and of the world around them, leaders maximise their capacity to motivate, focus, perform and connect, whilst remaining congruent and true to themselves.
Etienne is gay and out in all aspects of his life. Consequently, he is very conscious of diversity issues. He also lost his husband early in their relationship. This experience taught him the value of life and how to adjust after losing someone. His interest in philosophy also allows Etienne to facilitate existential discussions with clients.
